Mission Statement
The values surrounding our traditional economy are being re-examined. Numerous cities are transitioning to a society with economic activities that meet the needs of a new era of healthy and sustainable lifestyles. The mission of Boulder LOHAS Guild is to focus on Boulder, Colorado which is one of the most advanced cities in regards to this shift. We would like to inform the world (especially the Japanese market) on authentic LOHAS related information by introducing Boulder's new trends as well as creating real business and societal contacts among individuals, firms and organizations.
Summary of Activities
Up until now, several individuals have been independently blogging or contributing to magazine articles on Boulder targeted to the 
Japanese market. Accurate and up to date information on Boulder business and LOHAS lifestyle has tremendous benefit to many organizations and firms. However, much of the information found on the web is scattered and repetitive. Therefore, we have decided to initiate a more comprehensive site that goes beyond personal blogs and turn it into a new web media reporting on Boulder business and lifestyles by using visuals, analysis, interviews and other tools. Because we possess strong networks with businesses in town and have accumulated valuable information, the guild will also be able to provide support to those individuals, firms and organizations in Japan that are interested in Boulder products or services.
